BILINGUAL BILLING COORDINATOR - ENGLISH/FRENCH - 6 Month Contract
We are currently seeking a Bilingual (English/French) Billing Coordinator for a 6 month contract to join a fast-paced national service organization supporting major retail and industrial accounts across Canada. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys problem solving, and has strong billing, invoicing, and customer support experience.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing national account billing, resolving invoicing discrepancies, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting customers in both English and French.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle invoicing and billing activities for national retail and industrial accounts
- Process and monitor billing through multiple customer portals and systems
- Follow up on work order approvals to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and contract-related billing concerns
- Support internal sales and accounting teams with billing inquiries and customer requests
- Maintain accurate customer account information and audit billing data for accuracy
- Coordinate with service technicians and internal departments to validate billable work and warranty claims
- Prepare and distribute customer reports and billing documentation
- Monitor billing backlogs, outstanding approvals, and system error logs
- Ensure invoices are distributed according to customer-specific requirements
- Provide bilingual customer service support in English and French
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French - fluent in both languages (written and verbal)
- 2+ years of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or customer service experience
- Experience working with high-volume national accounts is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Strong computer skills with ERP systems and customer portals
- Experience with SAP or similar systems is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
