Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations.
- Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their experience and meet their needs.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments.
- Foster excellent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products through ongoing education.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new stylists eager to learn.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment.
- Effective communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
