Experienced Automotive Service Advisor required:
The Job:
This position requires a Service Advisor who has a passion for helping customers and an ability to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations. The successful candidate will excel in problem solving and possess strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is someone who has prior automotive service experience, enjoys working with people and is capable of making accurate decisions while maintaining high standards of integrity. Various responsibilities include:
- Listen to customers and understand their concerns.
- Answer customers' questions about services and warranties.
- Explain options and warranty terms to customers.
- Arrange for repairs and delivery of parts and vehicles.
- Write estimates for repairs and submit them to insurance companies.
- Use a computer system to track repair history, service, parts, and warranties.
- Research customer's vehicle issues.
The Qualifications required:
- Must have a valid class G driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract report.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent.
- Results driven with a customer focus.
- Ability to learn new computer systems and programs necessary for the position.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both in a team setting & independently.
