We are currently looking for a Part-Time Weekend Forklift Operator to join us and be part of our dynamic team.
LOCATION: 1280 Courtney Park Drive East, Mississauga
WEEKEND SHIFT :
Saturday and Sunday (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or
Saturday and Sunday (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
What You’ll Do:
- Operate Double Deep Reach Truck (Raymond Reach) and Counterbalance to load and unload trucks and move goods within the facility.
- Receive, handle, ship, and store product.
- Pull, pack, stage and prepare orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to confirm safe operating condition
- Input inventory movements and put-aways in the WMS.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment through adherence to security and safety policies.
- Report any damage / concerns regarding equipment, property, health and safety or inventory immediately to management.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 2 years of Reach and Counterbalance experience in a warehouse / distribution centre. Order Picker experience is an asset.
- Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) is an asset.
- Ability to manually lift / carry product / boxes of various sizes up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication skills in English – read, write, listen and speak.
- Able to work safely and effectively under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
- Consciously contribute to a safe, respectful, and productive team environment.
- Able to work overtime as required.
