We are seeking a dedicated Poultry Farm Worker to join our team at Pineridge Farms (Oxford) Ltd. in Embro, Ontario, Canada. This role is vital in supporting our daily operations and maintaining the high standards of our farm. The Farm Worker will contribute to the care of our livestock and the upkeep of farm equipment.
Job Duties
-Walking barns regularly to ensure watering and feeding systems are operating properly
-Monitoring bird health and reporting any concerns immediately
-Following all farm SOPs, biosecurity protocols, and animal care procedures
-Performing general farm duties including cleaning, barn preparation, and daily upkeep
-Operating small farm equipment and tools safely and efficiently
-Assisting with maintenance and repair of farm property, equipment, barn systems and all general farm duties
-Ensuring barns remain clean, safe, and properly ventilated
-Supporting loading, unloading, and flock management activities as required
-Maintaining accurate records related to flock care and barn checks
-Working collaboratively with farm management and staff to maintain high production and animal welfare standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings, yards, and surrounding property and all general farm duties.
- Assist with outdoor farm labour including picking stones from fields and maintaining laneways and work areas
- Operate basic farm equipment and tools safely
Job Requirements:
-Must be able to work full-time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to work as part of a team
-Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in barn conditions
- Applicants must have a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year hands-on poultry farm experience. (Please provide any relevant reference letters with your application)

Wage & Vacancies:
$17.60 per hour working full time with an average 30-40 hours per week.
