The Carpenter role is based in residential construction with a strong focus on framing. The primary role of the carpenter's assistant will be to follow directions from the lead carpenter, and work as a team to complete the following:
- Install wooden structures such as joists, exterior walls, partitions, rafters, trusses and stud work.
- Install siding, trim, cabinets, shelves, drywall, insulation, windows, doors, etc.
- General understanding and ability to read basic blueprints and designs prepared by other architects and construction professionals
This position is 40+hrs per week, with a 3-month probationary period. Your own transportation to and from office is required.
. Pay is bi-weekly in the form of direct deposit. In addition to an hourly wage, Terrelac will provide an onboarding package with some company gear (hats, t-shirts, hoodies). The starting pay for this position will vary depending on previous experience and skill set.
