What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you'll help create an outstanding shopping experience by:
- Greeting customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
- Assisting customers with fabric, sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet, and craft projects
- Operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately
- Cutting fabric accurately using store procedures
- Receiving and stocking merchandise
- Creating attractive product displays and maintaining store presentation
- Keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and well stocked
- Learning about new products and techniques
- Working collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals

- Comfortable learning new skills and product knowledge
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Has a comfortable grasp math and measurements
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Experience in retail is an asset, but we're happy to train the right person.
Knowledge or experience in sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet, crafting, embroidery, or other creative hobbies is considered a strong asset.
Availability
Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, including:
- Days
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays as required
Part-time employees are expected to be available for a minimum of 12 hours per week.
