Pet Expert (Sales Associate)
If you're friendly, enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in customer service and pet care, you'll enjoy a career at Paulmac's! As a Pet Expert, you will create great experiences by engaging with customers to ensure they find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure store cleanliness and merchandising standards are maintained at all times
- Provide informed and accurate advice/suggestions to customers and their pets
- Consistently improve and maintain product and animal care knowledge
- Diligently follow daily operations of store – opening and closing, operation of cash register, inventory tracking and reporting, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and management
Qualifications: Flexible and reliable – available to work varying shifts, weekends and evenings included
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Desire to grow in the pet care industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to think critically and work effectively as a member of a small team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to learn and constantly improve product and animal knowledge
- Previous customer service/retail experience an asset
- Motivated, reliable, and hard-working
This is a part-time position depending on experience, availability and performance. Wage dependent on experience and qualifications.
