General Labourer (Temporary / Contract)About Our Client

For over 60 years, they have specialized in supplying, assembling, and installing premium athletic equipment, telescopic seating, gym dividers, and spectators' bleachers for academic institutions, stadiums, and community arenas across North America. What You Will Be Doing, as a General Labourer:
- Assist with the safe assembly, placement, and installation of athletic facility fixtures and equipment.
- Unload, lift, and move construction materials, heavy athletic hardware, and specialized equipment safely around the site.
- Prepare assembly zones and consistently clear work surfaces of debris and packaging materials to ensure a safe, organized project area.
- Use basic manual and power tools under the guidance of lead technicians.
- Assist professional installers and trade technicians with various manual and structural assembly tasks.
- Strictly adhere to all job site health and safety standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a General Labourer:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a general labor, construction, assembly, or warehousing role.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, or stretch for extended periods.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on personal and team safety.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Possession of CSA-approved steel-toed boots (other basic PPE is an asset).
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Competitive Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Paid weekly, every Tuesday.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.

- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8:30am to 11:00pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Duration: Temporary summer contract running from June 9th to August 14th
- Potential for overtime depending on project needs and timelines.

- Location: Kelowna, BC
- Transit Accessibility: Highly transit-accessible! This location is directly serviced by major Kelowna BC Transit routes, making it easy to access by public bus. Excellent options are also available for those with personal vehicles (on-site parking options available).
