Reports to: Founder & CEO
Direct reports: 9 initially, and growing
Compensation: $125,000–$200,000 annually based on experience, plus benefits
Professional designation: P.Eng. required
The Role
ASI is hiring a Delivery & Operations Manager.
You will report directly to the CEO and lead a multidisciplinary team of nine, with additional hires in the works.
There is nowhere to hide in this position—your leadership will be visible in every project, deadline, and team result. If you need to be chased for decisions, updates, or results, this is not your role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Delivery & Operations team.
- Contribute
- Set clear expectations and hold themselves and staff accountable for performance, deadlines, quality, and results.
- Oversee active projects, schedules, budgets, staffing, risks, and client commitments.
- Ensure products and services are delivered on time, on budget, and to the required standard.
- Identify delivery issues early and drive them to resolution.
- Allocate staff across projects based on capability, workload, deadlines, and company priorities.
- Establish practical operating processes, reporting standards, and performance measures.
- Lead regular project and operational reviews.
- Provide the CEO with clear reporting.
- Improve coordination between sales, proposals, technical teams, finance, and administration.
- Address missed commitments, poor performance, and process failures directly.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of three planned hires.
- Build a delivery function that can scale without losing speed, accountability, or quality.
- Represent the company professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer designation in good standing.
- 7+ years of relevant engineering, project delivery, or operations experience.
- 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
- Experience managing a team of technical professionals.
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and competing resource demands.
- Strong understanding of project scope, scheduling, budgeting, risk, utilization, and profitability.
- Proven ability to improve operational performance and project delivery.
- Strong decision-making, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full time, in person, from the Regina office.

Compensation and Benefits
