The Homewood Suites is seeking bright, independent, reliable individuals to work in our housekeeping department. Your duties would include, but not be limited to:
- Cleaning rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated achieving standards of cleanliness and presentation as laid down by brand and hotel Standards & Procedures.
- Ensuring guest supplies and promotional material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished achieving the correct standards for the room type as per hotel and brand Standards & Procedures.
- Reporting lost and found following procedures detailed by hotel and brand Standards & Procedures.
- Understanding the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Using and cleaning equipment with care reporting any defective equipment as set down in hotel and brand Standards & Procedures.
- Using linen and terry in an efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring corridors are free from dirty linen/terry as laid down by hotel and brand Standards & Procedures.
- Reporting all maintenance faults as per hotel and brand Standards & Procedures.
- Interacting with guests to make their stay more enjoyable and assist in identifying service recovery opportunities..
This position includes both weekend and weekday hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.16 per hour
Experience:
- Hotel Housekeepers: 1 year (preferred)
