About the Role
Buka Maranga is a busy daytime hub that will be opening for evening service. The initial cocktail program will be curated by renowned Toronto Bartender Sasha Siegel and will focus on whimsical riffs on classics. There will also be tools provided to expand your classic cocktail knowledge and even a chance for the right candidate to contribute to expanding the cocktail menu in the future. We are looking for a Head Bartender and Bartenders to execute at a high level during those services. 1-2 years experience bartending is a must.

- Efficient multitasking during rushes without sacrificing quality
- Proficient with POS systems and handling payments
- Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized bar
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a restaurant or bar
- Knowledge of spirits, wines, liqueurs, and flavor profiles
- Smart Serve certified (required)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and key busy periods
- Comfortable standing for long hours and lifting up to 30 lbs
