Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Framer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various framing and construction tasks on-site, supporting the overall building process. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work with hand and power tools, and experience in carpentry or related trades. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in concrete forming, restoration, siding, and other construction disciplines while contributing to high-quality building projects.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate framing and assembly.
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks to support foundation and structural work.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform various construction activities.
- Support carpentry tasks including framing walls, installing siding, and working with wood materials.
- Perform heavy lifting to move materials and equipment around the job site safely.
- Assist with welding, concrete finishing, and restoration tasks as needed for project completion.
- Support the operation of heavy machinery when qualified and trained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, concrete forming, siding installation, woodworking, and concrete finishing is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, welding, and restoration work is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.

Pay: $23.00-$38.00 per hour
