Overview
We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Window & Door Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience fabricating and assembling aluminum windows, doors, frames, and related architectural products.
This position requires accuracy, mechanical ability, attention to detail, and confidence using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. The successful candidate should be able to work from shop drawings and complete assembly tasks with limited supervision.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum windows, entrance doors, frames, sashes, and curtain-wall components.
- Read and follow shop drawings, fabrication instructions, cut lists, and work orders.
- Install hinges, locks, handles, gaskets, weatherstripping, glazing beads, and other hardware.
- Perform glazing and apply silicone and sealants using caulking guns.
- Operate drills, saws, routers, punching equipment, pneumatic tools, and other production machinery.
- Measure accurately using metric and imperial measurements.
- Check dimensions, diagonals, alignment, and operation throughout the assembly process.
- Troubleshoot and adjust windows and doors to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect completed products for quality and defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with material handling and loading when required.
Requirements
- Previous aluminum window or door assembly experience.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow fabrication instructions.
- Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality and safety.
- Able to safely lift and handle window and door components.
Experience with European aluminum systems, tilt-and-turn hardware, lift-slide doors, curtain wall, CNC machinery, and forklift operation is considered an asset.
Pay: $22.81-$29.15 per hour
