Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator Level 1 to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Support children in daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
- Foster an inclusive environment that accommodates children with special needs or disabilities
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum and classroom activities
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Uphold all policies related to child safety, health regulations, and confidentiality
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Organizational skills for managing planned activities, documentation, and daily routines
- Experience with computer operation for record keeping and educational tools is advantageous
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices in child development
Pay: $16.13-$18.77 per hour
