Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in food service
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards
- Handle any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age (or as required by local laws)
