Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Casa Montessori Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and personal growth of students. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans for students with special needs.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Montessori Trained Teacher (MACT or AMI)
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching in a Casa classroom.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience working with children 3-6 years of age.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
