Job Summary: The Frozen Warehouse Worker is responsible for accurately picking, palletizing, loading, and organizing ice cream products within a fast-paced freezer environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer orders are prepared correctly, safely, and on time while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Pick customer orders accurately using the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method
· Palletize ice cream according to company and customer specifications
· Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
· Operate pallet jacks to transport products within the warehouse
· Ensure all orders are staged correctly for shipment
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe freezer environment
· Verify order quantities and report discrepancies
· Follow all food safety, quality control, and workplace safety procedures
· Support general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a food manufacturing or freezer environment is an asset but not required
· Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis
· Reach truck experience is an asset
· Experience operating pallet jacks
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work effectively in a cold environment for extended periods
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Experience
· Further education in a related field is considered an asset.
· Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a freezer or cold storage facility.
