The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products, supporting production schedules and customer orders.
The Material Handler will operate various material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain inventory accuracy and workplace safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and follow safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.

Experience in non-durable goods manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of bar code scanning technology and inventory control processes.

Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move materials within the warehouse and production areas.

Pick and prepare orders accurately for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, locations, and movements.

Assist with assembly line support by delivering materials and components as needed to maintain continuous production flow.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.

Work overtime as required to meet production deadlines and shipping schedules.
