Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Servers to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, friendly communication, and efficient food and beverage delivery. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correctly entered for timely processing
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling, preparation, and serving processes
- Maintain a clean, organized service station and dining area, adhering to sanitation guidelines and restaurant policies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation times and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is valued!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Restaurant experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates interested in developing their hospitality skills
