Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing both traditional and modern repair techniques.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and use of maintenance equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for accurate repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Hands-on experience with welding, maintenance, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs
- Experience working with customer service in an automotive environment is a plus
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
- Prior experience working with automotive repair software or diagnostic systems is advantageous
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
