About GluteNull GluteNull is a family-owned, certified gluten-free bakery based in Coquitlam, BC, founded in 2011 by Otari Kobalia. We make breads, cookies, health bars, granolas, cakes, and egg replacers — all 100% gluten-free, vegan, Non-GMO verified, refined sugar-free, and free from the top allergens.
Our products are sold online, through retail stores nationwide, hospitals, universities, schools, and wholesale partners across Canada. Our mission is simple: food that is genuinely good for you and genuinely delicious. We run by the Golden Rule — “What you do not wish upon yourself, extend not to others” — and that philosophy shapes everything from our ingredients to how we treat our community.
The Role We’re looking for an energetic, community-minded person to be GluteNull’s face in Vancouver. You will be the person who walks into a Kitsilano yoga studio and leaves samples, who films an honest 30-second reel at the farmers market, and who builds real relationships with nutritionists, gym owners, and health-conscious communities across the West Side. This is a boots-on-the-ground role.
You don’t need to be a polished marketer — you need to genuinely love clean food, be naturally social, know how to use your phone to create content, and be excited to talk about a brand you believe in.
What You’ll Do
Community outreach
- Visit gyms, yoga studios, Pilates and Barre studios, CrossFit boxes, and wellness spaces in Kitsilano, Point Grey, Dunbar, and Fairview with product samples
- Build genuine relationships with studio owners, front-desk staff, and fitness instructors who can become ongoing advocates
- Leave sample kits and product cards at naturopath clinics, registered dietitian offices, and and health food cafés
- Attend Vancouver gluten-free, vegan, and wellness events — including the Vancouver Vegan Festival at Kits Beach (Sept 2026), Vancouver Gluten Free Expo at Canada Place (Sept 19- 20, 2026), and local health markets
- Represent GluteNull at pop-up demos, tasting events, and in-store sampling days when scheduled Identify and approach local businesses for cross-promotions, gift bag inclusions, and in-kind partnerships (e.g. yoga studios, run clubs, health-focused cafés)
- Increase newsletter subscribers and social media followers organically
Content creation — social media (approx. 5 hrs/week)
- Film and post short TikToks and Instagram Reels from your outreach activities — studio visits, market days, product drop-offs, taste reactions
- Create quick, authentic behind-the-scenes content: unboxing samples, reactions from studio staff, before/after of a gym snack table setup
- Post Instagram Stories documenting your outreach week — “dropping off gluten-free granola” studio style content Participate authentically in local Vancouver health/food communities on Reddit (r/vancouver, r/glutenfree) and Facebook groups
- Assist with giveaway campaigns — coordinating prize fulfillment, commenting, and reposting winner content
- Capture and send raw footage and photos to the content team for use in ads and website updates
Partnerships & collaborations (approx. 2 hrs/week)
- Identify and pitch collaboration opportunities: co-branded social posts, studio snack partnerships, recipe collabs with local food creators
- Manage a simple outreach tracker (Google Sheet) of every venue/person contacted, followup dates, and outcomes
- Coordinate in-kind sponsorship opportunities — local charity runs, school wellness days, community events where GluteNull can provide product
- Build a referral pipeline with health professionals who can recommend GluteNull to their clients (RDs, naturopaths, GPs, personal trainers)
Admin & reporting (approx. 2 hrs/week)
- Submit a brief weekly report: venues visited, samples distributed, content posted, new contacts made, any follow-up needed
- Maintain the outreach contact list — names, venues, last contact, relationship status
- Request and follow up on Google reviews from new wholesale/community contacts Relay product feedback from the community directly to the GluteNull team
