Position Summary
We are looking for a part time Class 3 driver with exceptional customer service to join our fleet.
Location: Duncan, BC
Schedule: Saturday only
What you will do
- Local deliveries within Saanich and surrounding areas
- Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition
- Straight Truck/Curtain side and flatbed
- Saturday day shift as well as opportunities for additional shifts
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured
- Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport
What You’ll Bring
- 6 months up to 1 year experience
- Basic reading, communication skills to follow direction
- Class 3 license with air brakes
- Moffett or Forklift certification is an asset
- Driver’s abstract issued within the last 30 days
- Positive team attitude
- Must be willing to complete a criminal record check
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
