If you are a low voltage technician with experience installing structured cabling or network infrastructure (cat5, cat6. Racks, cabinets, patch panels, terminations) we want to hear from you! We are looking for several technicians with previous experience to assist on some of our larger installations.
As a Structured Cabling Technician with Bosch Building Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.
This role requires the ability and knowhow to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the bill of material (BOM), and be capable of adjusting or finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual and CCTV; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, labeling, testing and reporting per specifications and drawings.

Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms.

Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.

Adhere to Bosch Building Technology's Quality and Safety programs.

Complete detailed and accurate documentation, including OHS checks, packing slips, checklists, as-builts, test results.

You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements.

Consistently provide high levels of customer service.
-
Travel and overtime may be requested with this position on an ad hoc basis.

Perform additional duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
3 - 5 years of experience in structured cabling installation & servicing.
-
Experience pulling, terminating and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
-
Experience installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc) .
-
Post-secondary education in electrical, telecommunications, electronics, or equivalent is considered an asset.

Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices.

Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and no restrictions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.

Must be bondable and able to pass a background check .

Strong problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, CFOT, Specific Manufacturer training) are a plus.
