We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team in Mississauga. Reporting to the Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data while partnering across the business to deliver meaningful insights and drive informed decisionmaking.
As a Financial Accountant, you'll take ownership of key financial processes and act as a trusted partner across multiple functions:

Lead the monthend close process, including preparing and posting journal entries

Ensure accuracy of the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies

Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, identifying root causes of variances

Oversee core accounting activities, including accruals, costing, allocations, and account analysis

Prepare weekly reporting such as Revenue Tracker, Sales & Order Book, Cash Flow, and bank reconciliations

Manage costing and manufacturing postings within ERP and maintain WIP schedules

Track project costs and revenue, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis

Collaborate crossfunctionally with sales, operations, and project teams on project closures and inventory adjustments

Support Accounts Payable and Treasury functions, including wire transfers and bank activities

Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis alongside the Controller

Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements

Contribute to ERP enhancements, upgrades, and testing initiatives

Support yearend activities and inventory counts

CPA designation (or will obtain in the next 6 months)

Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting role

Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to translate data into insights

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Advanced Excel skills and solid experience with ERP systems

A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
