Salary:
$42.77 to $68.43 per hour ($77,842.65 to $124,548.24 per annum)

MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or HR related field is required.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert is preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate is preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant is preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (or higher) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in workflow automation, system implementation or HR technology is required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Microsoft Power Platform is required.
- Experience implementing case management or ticketing systems is required.
- Experience integrating SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and Forms is required.
- Familiarity with Power BI is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-function HR/IT initiatives is preferred.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions is required.
- Excellent communication and change management skills are required.
- Analytical thinking with strong problem solving ability is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the HR triage and intake system using:
- Power Automate (flows, orchestration)
- Dynamics 365 (Case management / HR data integration)
- Microsoft Copilot (AI assisted triage, draft responses to inquiries, workflow enhancements, automated routing)
- Microsoft outlook, Microsoft teams, Microsoft forms and SharePoint
- Architect scalable workflows across all HR functions for:
- Employee requests (HR helpdesk)
- Case routing and prioritization
- Approvals and escalations
- Knowledge base integration
Workflow Automation
- Design, build, test and deploy automated workflows across HR processes such as:
- Onboarding/offboarding
- Leave requests
- HR data change requests
- Integrate Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Forms for seamless intake and communication.
System Integration & Data Management
- Design integrations between Dynamics 365, VIP (HRIS System) and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Ensure secure data handling, governance and compliance with all University of Manitoba policies and procedures.
- Develop data models and reporting dashboards, preferably in Power BI.
Copilot Enablement
- Configure and optimize Copilot capabilities for:
- Automated responses and summaries
- Case creation, classification and routing
- Document drafting and knowledge suggestions
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR leadership to translate business needs into technical workflows.
- Train HR Teams on new tools and processes.
- Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Governance & Best Practices
- Establish Power Platform governance frameworks for all HR processes ensuring adherence to Microsoft’s best practices for security, performance and lifecycle management.
- Other duties as assigned.
