Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Follow food safety protocols during meal preparation and service
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in food handling
- Enthusiasm for learning about the food industry and developing culinary skills
- Must be available to work weekends
