Chief Mate - Deer Island Princess II
Coastal Transport Limited has an immediate opening for a relief Mate on the Deer Island Princess II.
Coastal Transport operates several passenger/vehicle ferries in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick. It is currently seeking a Mate for a relief position onboard the 40 metre ferry Deer Island Princess, which operates between L’Etete and Deer Island, NB.
The successful candidate must hold a Chief Mate Limited for a vessel 150 GT Domestic or higher certificate. A good understanding of ISM, the ability to interact well with people and strong leadership skills are required.
This position is on a rotational schedule and is based out of Deer Island, NB. The successful candidate will reside on Deer Island, be willing to relocate or stay in the company accommodations while on shift.
