JILL DREADDY DANCECO - St. John's & Conception Bay South, NL
JILL DREADY DANCECO is looking for dynamic and versatile dance teachers for the 2026-2027 dance season to teach a variety of dance styles (Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatic Arts, Lyrical any other genres are welcome).
Position is full time, permanent
JILL DREADDY DANCECO also offers Flamenco, Contemporary, Ballroom & Latin American, Broadway, Aerials, dance for young children (2-4 yrs). JDD has 2 locations within 20 minutes of each other. The schools also offer a competitve dance program for more serious dancers.
Candidates must be passionate about teaching dance, love to teach all ages & levels, and have a natural ability to engage young children. A driver’s license is also required.
Responsibilities:
- create a structured, fun and creative learning environment
- choreography of dance pieces for year end production and competition teams
- coordinate and work with artistic director as needed
Must have successfully completed a professional dance teacher training program and hold a diploma, or equivalent, in modern/jazz, tap, and ballet. Minimum 3 years teaching experience. Must have CPR or First Aid.
Subsidized onsite housing available and return airfare will be covered if moving from out of Province
Wages: $32.96 -$35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
