Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Part-Time Concrete Truck Driver to join our ready-mix delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a DZ licence, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing reliable and timely deliveries to our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a ready-mix concrete truck to and from job sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and minor truck maintenance.
- Load, deliver, and unload concrete following specific job requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and crew members.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and Ontario OHSA regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck, mixer drum, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid DZ driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- 1–2 years of commercial driving experience (ready-mix experience an asset).
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices in construction environments.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and navigate busy job sites.
- Good physical condition for climbing, bending, and occasional manual labour.

Assets That Will Set You Apart
- Prior ready-mix concrete driving experience.
- Background in concrete or construction.
- Safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights).
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting on the road.
