Job Description
Our growing business is currently seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to join our commercial electrical contractor company.
Job responsibilities
- Ability to read blueprints, plan sets & analyze drawings and specifications
- Communicate with customers,foremen,sub contractors & suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly
- Liaise regularly with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and internal parties (foreman & electricians)
- Coordinate with the implementation and updates of planning and scheduling systems and procedures to ensure project activities are planned and scheduled in adequate detail
- Coordinate project administrative functions, shop drawing control, change order & work orders control
- Continued development and maintenance of existing project manpower required on each project
- Assists with the preparation of regular progress reports
- Ensures compliance with quality control procedures
- Monitor material orders and deliveries to ensure timely arrival at project sites.
- Required Skills
- Proven working experience in construction coordination or similar role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Project management: 1 year (preferred)
