Bailey's Marine Service LTD. is currently seeking qualified Commercial Divers for upcoming inshore marine operations beginning June 2026. Positions are available on a full-time/rotational basis, with anticipated project durations ranging from 6–12 months +/-.
Position Overview
Successful applicants will participate in a variety of marine and underwater operations throughout Newfoundland. Candidates are expected to have strong communication skills, be physically capable in heavy lifting and other strenuous activities. When not diving, persons are expected to carry out general duties related to commercial diving along with general marine labor tasks unrelated diving.
Required Certifications
- DCBC Unrestricted Surface Supplied Certification
- Valid Commercial Diver Medical
- First Aid Certification
- Oxygen Provider Certification
- WHMIS
Preferred Experience & Assets
Experience in the following areas is considered a strong asset:
- Salvage
- Rigging
- Underwater Burning/Cutting
- Pollution Response
- Contaminated Diving
- Hands-on mechanical and practical marine skills
