Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting manufacturing and warehouse operations through various physical tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with tools and equipment used in industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and material handling tasks in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts as required to support production activities
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment and machinery
- Support inventory management by loading, unloading, and organizing materials
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas to comply with health regulations
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly processes are advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while adhering to safety guidelines
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to industrial work environments
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
