Job Summary
We are seeking reliable Part-Time Shipper / Receivers to join our Distribution Center team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes, with a focus on maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting order fulfillment.
Shifts: Morning Shift (4am - 12noon), Afternoon Shift (12noon - 8pm)
Pay Rate: $21.25/hr
Duties
- Ship and load trailers safely and efficiently.
- Pick and prepare customer orders with accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure orders are accurate, on time, and meet quality standards.
- Receive and organize incoming orders and deliveries.
- Inspect trailers and incoming ingredients to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Verify deliveries, complete inventory counts, and ensure all receiving documentation is accurate.
- Complete receiving logs and required food safety documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and waste disposal.
Experience
- Previous warehouse or shipping / receiving experience is an asset
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs; no forklifts on-site
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Work in a safe and considerable manner
