Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality of food meets the highest standards of freshness and taste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Assist in creating new dishes and menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or relevant role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Certification from a culinary school is a plus
