Position: Full-Time/Part-Time Facilitator

Valiant Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Facilitator to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction and mental health challenges while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
As a Facilitator, you will play a vital role in clients' recovery journey by providing guidance, structure, encouragement, and practical support throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions.
- Guide and support clients throughout their daily recovery program.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and positive therapeutic environment.
- Prepare healthy meals for clients and assist with kitchen duties.
- Transport clients to community appointments and 12-Step meetings using a company vehicle.
- Encourage participation in recovery activities and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Document client participation and communicate with the clinical team.
- Assist with daily operations of the facility and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Act as a positive role model while maintaining professional boundaries.
Qualifications
- Experience working in addiction recovery, mental health, social services, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating discussions.
- Ability to build rapport while maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
