We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of full-time Vacuum Heat Treat Operator. You will calibrate furnaces, monitor technical specifications, and ensure the metallurgical integrity of high-performance turbine components.
Base wage: $27.00 - $29.00 / hour
Location: 400 Highway 6 N, Dundas, ON L9H 7K4

We have an opening on Day Shift. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Operate furnaces to ensure that temperature settings, pressure, and time durations are accurate and within specifications
- Review technical specifications to understand the materials being treated and the desired properties
- Inspect raw materials before and after heat treatment to ensure proper size, shape, and quality
- Perform routine maintenance on heat treatment equipment to keep it running efficiently
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with company safety regulations and quality standards
Key Skill Requirements:
- Ability to identify and fix equipment malfunctions or problems quickly
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills
Key Experience/Education:
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook an asset
- Experience programming furnace controllers, reading furnace charts and verifying that performed heat treatments are in compliance with specifications an asset
