About the Role
We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in-office in Edmonton. This role is central to how we communicate with customers and the public — from answering inquiries to keeping our social media and website content fresh. You'll also lend a hand with administrative tasks to support our leadership team as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants variety in their day-to-day and the chance to help shape the marketing function of a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer and partner inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Plan, create, and manage content for social media platforms
- Write and update articles and content on the company website
- Make outbound calls from time to time (e.g., follow-ups, inquiries, outreach)
- Assist the leadership group with administrative tasks as needed
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications and channels
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong professionalism and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable making and receiving phone calls
- Genuine interest in being part of a small, growing team and taking on varied responsibilities
- Self-starter who's comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Based in or willing to work in-office in Edmonton, Alberta
Nice to Have
- Experience with social media management tools or content calendars
- Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Interest in renewable energy or sustainability
Pay: $23.50-$31.50 per hour
