Job Summary
Rapid Roofing and Repairs is seeking an experienced Roof Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting and diagnosing asphalt sloped and flat roof issues and performing repairs on residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of asphalt and flat roofing systems and the ability to communicate solutions clearly to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to inspect and assess roof conditions, diagnose leaks and roofing failures.
- Perform repairs.
- Document roof conditions with photos and notes for estimates and project records.
- Communicate repair options and recommendations clearly to customers.
- Coordinate with operations team regarding estimates and scheduled work.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to industry standards.
- Occasionally supporting the reroofing/installations team when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with asphalt and flat roofing systems.
- Ability to diagnose roof leaks and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Experience preparing estimates.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, or estimating software.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Fall protection and CSTS certifications (up to date).
Required Experience
- Experience evaluating and repairing asphalt roofing systems.
- Experience evaluating and repairing flat roofing systems
Preferred Experience
- Experience with specialty roofing systems such as metal and cedar.

Pay: $35.00-$52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
