We are seeking a skilled Stainless Stick/Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform TIG welding on a variety of metals, ensuring strong and clean welds.
- Fabricate components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including plasma cutting machines.
- Utilize power tools and press brake machines for metal shaping and assembly.
- Build ductwork and other metal structures as required by project specifications.
- Rig materials for safe handling during the welding process.
- Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Stainless Stick/Tig Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Proficient in welding techniques, particularly TIG welding.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, press brake machines, and plasma cutting equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to rig materials safely for transport within the workspace.
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
