The Accounting Supervisor
A General Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, issue contractual invoicing to clients, track account receivable and hold back amounts, monitor costing/profitability of large projects, performing account reconciliations and supporting financial decision-making within an organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, Invoicing, and accounts receivable
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
· Issue invoicing and conduct AR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end or year-end close processes
· Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and improve financial practices
· Maintain costing and tracking AR and Profitability for each project
· Required Skills
· Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
· Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- CPA designation not required
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 1–3 years of supervisory or lead accounting experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
