Job Title: Cottage Cleaner
Overview:
We’re looking for detail-oriented, reliable individuals to join our team as Cottage Cleaners. Our office is based in Huntsville, Ontario, but cleaners typically go directly to assigned cottages in their area and surrounding areas. This role is essential to creating clean, welcoming spaces for guests at our vacation rental properties. If you take pride in your work, enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks, and love making places feel fresh and inviting — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full turnover cleans between guest stays.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all floors and surfaces.
- Sanitize kitchens and bathrooms (including toilets, sinks, showers, appliances).
- Make beds and restock linens, toiletries, and other amenities.
- Report any damages, missing items, or maintenance concerns.
- Occasionally perform deep cleaning and seasonal tasks as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in all areas.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (hospitality or vacation rentals is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Comfortable working independently and in small teams.
- Availability on weekends, holidays, and peak rental seasons.
- Ability to lift 20–30 lbs, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Professional attitude and clear communication skills.
