Currently seeking to add an additional Warehouse Supervisor to our team. We are a specialized moving company, and this is a hands-on position working alongside our crews. Much of the loading and unloading is completed by hand using various material handling carts or dollies. Previous blanket wrap moving experience is considered an asset. Please note that this is NOT a forklift-only load and unload position. Opportunity for growth available for the right candidate.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow instruction from warehouse manager and complete work assignment.
- Familiar with using bar code scanners to receive, put away, transfers, etc.
- Inspect goods for damage when receiving from inbound transporters.
- Pull orders for shipping as instructed, wrap and stage accordingly.
- Load and unload trucks using dollies, carts, some forklift.
- Blanket wrap and secure product to truck using straps.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in your daily assignments and paperwork.
- Work at a fast pace to fulfill quick turnaround requests and demands.
- Always work with a safety first mindset.
- Take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills.
- Maintain a clean warehouse at all times.
- Always seek areas of improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have clean criminal record.
- Prior knowledge of warehouse procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Must be forklift certified.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
