`Duties
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target demographics.
- Develop and implement strategies for business development and lead generation.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing members.
- Follow up with leads, inquiries, and expired memberships to generate new sales.
- Negotiate membership options and close sales while meeting individual and team targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for all members and guests.
- Maintain accurate member records using CRM or membership management software.
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and gym floor clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Ensure all weights and equipment are returned to their proper locations throughout the shift.
- Perform regular walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness, safety, and member satisfaction.
- Monitor the facility, enforce gym policies, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Complete all end-of-day closing procedures, including securing the facility and ensuring all members have exited before closing.
- Attend community events, promotions, and networking opportunities to help grow membership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a membership-based environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting sales targets.
- Ability to keep the facility clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the shift.
- Proficient with CRM or membership management software (Salesforce or similar is an asset).
- Bilingual in English and another language is an asset.
