As a Boutique Associate, you'll be one of the friendly faces our guests remember. You'll help guests and fellow hosts discover the perfect Deerhurst keepsake, maintain beautiful merchandise displays, and ensure every visit to The Boutique is memorable.
This role is perfect for someone who loves fashion, retail, hospitality, and creating exceptional experiences.
Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Assist guests and hosts with purchases and answer questions about resort activities and amenities.
Operate the point of sale system and handle transactions accurately.
Open and close the Boutique and complete daily cash outs.
Merchandise products and maintain attractive displays.
Receive, replenish, and organize inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
Help resolve guest concerns with professionalism and positivity.
Stay informed about resort events and activities to provide helpful recommendations.
Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.
Positive energy and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
An eye for detail and pride in maintaining an organized, welcoming environment
Initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to solve problems with professionalism and composure
Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced setting
Strong time management skills and comfort using computers and retail systems
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
Smart Serve certification preferred.
Previous retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.
Cash handling experience preferred.
First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
A high school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
