General Foreman

Position:
United Roofing Inc. is looking to hire a full-time General Foreman for our office in Vancouver. Projects vary from high end residential to large commercial projects. Hours are weather dependent, but the average is around 50 hours per week.
Job description:
- Supervising a crew up to 12 workers.
- Conduct various meetings with the crew.
- Follow all general and safety policies, procedures and practices.
Requirements:
- Experience in flat roofing/waterproofing (5 years minimum).
- Experience in a similar position (Foreman/Supervisor).
- Good leadership.
- Ability to supervise and lead a crew.
- Ability to conduct various meeting with the crew.
- Own tools and PPE.
- Safety tickets (WHMIS, and Fall Pro) - Recertification can/will be provided for hired workers, in the course of employment.
Assets:
- Journeyman Red Seal Preferred.
- Roofing Certificates (Soprema, Sarnafil, Carlisle, Firestone, Iko, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License.
