Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations, sales, service, and staff supervision
- Maintain a clean store and safe work space
- Support inventory management, ordering, and stock accuracy
- Use AGR to manage product levels and track items
- Lead receiving, stock checks, and backroom organization
- Support merchandising, promotions, and seasonal resets
- Provide direct product guidance and pet care support to customers
- Handle cash, balance shifts, and maintain accurate financial records
- Train staff, assign tasks, and support employee performance
- Resolve customer issues with clear communication
Requirements
- Previous experience at a pet store is required
- Experience at Bosley’s or Tisol is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pet products and pet care
- Knowledge of AGR inventory management
- Basic accounting knowledge
- QuickBooks knowledge is an asset
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and retail systems
- Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast retail environment
- Must live in or near North Vancouver
