We are GROWING and as a result we have an opportunity to invite an AZ/DZ Driver to join our team!
This role is perfect for a personable, hard-working individual who enjoys physical work.
Our Driver's ensure timely and safe pick up or delivery of product to and from customer sites, while providing professional service within the GTA, Hamilton, Brantford, and Niagara areas.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
- Follow route schedules to ensure that deliveries and pickups are made on time.
- Collect and load pallets or other products from customers/suppliers sites. The driver will need to load or assist with loading pallets.
- Ensure truck is loaded efficiently to optimized capacity while ensuring each pick up remains identifiable.
- Drivers are required to handle and stack pallets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years AZ/DZ experience with a clean abstract/CVOR, and valid AZ/DZ license.
- Must be able to work outdoors year-round.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Available to work Monday to Friday, starting at 7am.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted, lifting is a regular activity
- Excellent customer service skills, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
