Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated HVAC Installation Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in HVAC. Duties
- Assist with the installation of HVAC systems including ductwork, units, and related components
- Support the setup and connection of plumbing and mechanical systems as required
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to aid in installation tasks
- Use basic construction tools and equipment to facilitate installation processes
- Help with maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC units during installation and post-installation
- Support team members with welding or boiler-related tasks when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during installation activities
Experience
- Prior experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or appliance repair is advantageous but not mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is preferred
- Familiarity with HVAC systems or construction environments is a plus
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively
- Previous hands-on experience with maintenance or mechanical work will be beneficial
- Strong willingness to learn new skills related to HVAC installation and mechanical systems
This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in HVAC, construction, and mechanical trades while contributing to essential building projects. This job is in the Kelowna & surrounding area. Ability to get to job sites is a must.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
