Schedule: Flexible scheduling may be available once training is successfully completed.

SpeedPro Grande Prairie is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Production Technician / Print Production Specialist to join our team. You’ll help turn creative designs into signs, decals, vehicle graphics, banners, and other finished products our customers can’t wait to show off.
This role is a great fit for someone who likes staying busy, takes pride in quality work, and can keep things moving when several projects are on the go.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your days will be varied, but your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining two wide-format printers.
- Operating vinyl plotters and cutting equipment.
- Laminating printed graphics and signage.
- Using vinyl application rollers and other finishing equipment.
- Coordinating production workflows across a variety of materials, substrates, and vinyl products.
- Selecting the correct print media, vinyl, and substrates for each project.
- Weeding, masking, and taping vinyl graphics.
- Preparing files and materials for production and installation.
- Checking print quality, colour consistency, measurements, and production accuracy.
- Working closely with our sales and design teams to make sure every project is produced correctly.
- Monitoring project completion dates and coordinating production timelines to keep work flowing efficiently and projects delivered on time.
- Keeping the production area clean, safe, and organized.
- Assisting with packaging, shipping, and other general production duties as needed.
- Solving the occasional production puzzle when a project decides not to cooperate.

- A good eye for colour matching and colour consistency.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work well with sales, design, and production team members.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- The flexibility to adapt when priorities or schedules change.
- Strong problem-solving and task-prioritization skills.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new production software and equipment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to jump in where needed.
Previous experience in signs, printing, graphics, manufacturing, or production is considered an asset, but it is not required.
